Dress Code
To create beautiful memories, we will take lots of photos and would appreciate if all our guests could wear some pastel colors.
No need for a suit and tie, we want you to be comfortable.
To make choosing your outfit a little easier please refer to the striped pastel palette. If your blue jeans are the only pastel in your cupboard – go for it!
Ladies: Stilettos will be very challenging due to the cocktail reception that will be held outside on a grassy area.
You will be much more comfortable in your dancing shoes.
Q&A
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The cocktail reception will be held outdoors whilst the reception will be in an indoor reception venue.
Is there accommodation close to the venue?
There are several good accommodation options around the venue. Just google.
Can I bring a partner?
If you are invited and over 21, we have already counted your + 1. Make sure you provide their names at the RSVP tab.
Will there be an opportunity for guests to take photos?
We have set up a beautiful photo corner at the reception hall where you can take as many photos as you want. Our photographer will also take photos of all our guests.
What if I want to sleep at home but celebrated a bit too much?
For those of you staying close to Hartbeespoort - we have secured a minibus that will run from the venue to Pecanwood at 3 different times during the evening.
Will there be an open bar or a cash bar?
Cocktails and juice will be served at the cocktail reception with wine and champagne during dinner.
A cash bar will also be available throughout the evening.
Will it be ok if I just share in the ceremony & dinner and leave directly after that?
We understand that our guests vary i.t.o. age and will fully understand if you make it a short evening. We will appreciate your attendance no matter how long/short you stay.
What will be provided for the children?
We have set up a special play area for the smaller children on the grassy area just outside the venue where you will be able to keep a watchful eye on them. There will be Nannies to ensure they are safe whist in the play area. There will also be a seat right next to mommy in the reception hall should they want to join.
Is there anything specific we should know about bringing wedding gifts?
Celebrating with you on our special day is the only gift we require. However, if you really want to bring something: a green plant of any size would spice up our garden.
Don’t go for anything bigger than what you can carry in one hand.
